Upon arrival, we strongly prefer cash payments in Guatemalan Quetzales (GTQ).

We accept credit cards via TAB with a 5% commission (no account needed; payment is in quetzales).
We accept US Dollars (only $50 or $100 bills in pristine condition), but please note:
- Dollar bills below $50 are not accepted by Guatemalan banks.
- Currency exchange rates typically run at about 7 Quetzales to 1 USD.
- We prefer payments in the local currency to avoid inconveniences.
